Resilience Reaps Rewards
We are always looking for ways to support our children in becoming independent, confident learners who are ready to thrive in an ever-changing world. We are delighted to share with you that we have introduced the Resilience Reaps Rewards programme at Co-op Academy Oakwood. This programme will help children develop strategies to persevere when learning feels challenging, build confidence in their own problem-solving and decision-making skills and celebrate effort and progress and learn to cope positively with setbacks and see mistakes as a opportunity to grow. Our first topic is called Heroes - please ask your child about the work they are doing.
Family meetings
Thank you to all the families who joined us on Wednesday to meet their child’s new teachers and the Key Stage 1 families who joined the reading meeting.

The poet @AttieLime has kindly sent a copy of her new poetry book to Mrs Porter and Peregrine Class.
